The short version
- Scout is an AI, not a person, and not for emergencies. In a crisis call 988 or 911.
- Texting is free from us; your carrier’s msg & data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help, START to rejoin.
- You must be 18+. Consent isn’t required to apply to any job.
- We don’t guarantee jobs, interviews, or pay.
1. The service
Gig Scout sends recurring automated SMS and, where available, WhatsApp messages about jobs, resources, and related content. Scout is an automated assistant (AI), not a live person, and is not for emergencies.
2. Consent & eligibility
You must be 18 or older. By giving your number and opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated messages. Consent is not a condition of applying to any job. Message frequency varies with your search.
3. Keywords
Reply any of STOP · STOPALL · UNSUBSCRIBE · CANCEL · END · QUIT · REVOKE to stop messages permanently. Reply HELP for help. Reply START to opt back in after stopping.
4. Rates
Gig Scout does not charge job seekers. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
5. No guarantee
Scout surfaces opportunities and guidance but does not guarantee a job, an interview, a wage, or the accuracy of any employer listing.
6. WhatsApp
Where you opt in on WhatsApp, messages are also subject to Meta’s WhatsApp Business terms in addition to these terms.
